Why Does Vapeera Need to Verify Your Age?
Under UK legislation (Children and Families Act 2014 & Nicotine Inhaling Products Regulations), it is illegal to sell electronic cigarettes, e-liquids, nicotine pouches, or any vapour products that contain or deliver nicotine to anyone under the age of 18.
By placing an order on vapeera.co.uk, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
How Do We Check Your Age?
- When you visit: you are asked to confirm that you are 18 or over before you can browse the shop.
- At checkout and when creating an account: you must enter your date of birth. Orders cannot be placed by anyone under 18.
- Before dispatch: we review orders. If anything suggests the buyer may be under 18, or the details don’t match, we will ask for proof of age before sending the order. If proof isn’t provided, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.
Proof of Age We May Ask For
If we contact you, please reply to info@vapeera.co.uk with your order number and a clear photo of one of the following:
- Passport
- UK photocard driving licence
- PASS-accredited proof-of-age card (for example CitizenCard)
We use the document only to confirm your age.
Proxy Purchasing (UK Department of Health & Social Care)
Under UK law, it is strictly illegal for an adult to buy (or attempt to buy) tobacco products, vape kits, nicotine pouches, or e-cigarettes on behalf of anyone under the age of 18 (proxy purchasing). Vapeera reserves the right to cancel and refund any order suspected of being a proxy purchase.
